These values describe project design targets and the comparison reference. Final performance is to be verified through testing and certification work.

Turning weight reduction into economic value
The savings model is evaluated using the customer’s operation profile, the verified tare weight of delivered pallets and a jointly agreed methodology. Fuel savings and additional cargo capacity are assessed as separate operational benefits.
Frequently asked questions about the composite cargo pallet
Is the Avit’e pallet certified?
The project is under development and targets TSO/ETSO-C90 certification. It does not claim completed certification or operational approval.
What is the basis of the 37.5% weight reduction?
The 65 kg target pallet weight is compared with a 104 kg aluminum reference pallet. The 39 kg difference is 37.5% of that reference. The percentage changes with a different aluminum reference.
Are fuel and carbon savings identical on every flight?
No. The website’s calculation uses a reference scenario of a nine-hour flight and 400 flights per year. Aircraft type, flight duration, load planning and utilization affect results; the figures are not an operational guarantee.
